WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

You will have an opportunity to discuss your situation and current concerns and in sharing information about you, an assessment will be made of your needs. In collaboration a therapeutic treatment plan will be made to meet your needs and desired outcomes.

HOW CAN COUNSELLING HELP?

Life can be confusing and distressing for everyone at different times in their lives. Both our emotions and the emotions expressed by the people in our lives can be bewildering and difficult to understand.
Using a collaborative and respectful approach, Bilyana’s passion is to increase her clients’ awareness about what is happening in their lives and work together to develop strategies and techniques that will assist her clients to improve the quality of their life and allow them to gradually work towards achieving their desired outcomes. Bilyana provides confidential counselling in a safe and comfortable environment.

WHEN SHOULD I SEEK COUNSELLING?

Bilyana provides counselling to individuals, couples and families on:

  • Issues including Chronic Pain

  • Loss & Grief
  • Life transitions
  • Issues affecting children

DO I NEED A MENTAL HEALTH CARE PLAN?

You can receive psychological services without a GP referral or Mental Health Care Plan – standard fee applies.
 
For those with Mental Health Care Plan completed by GP and a referral for Better Access to Mental Health program at your first session you will need to bring your referral and Medicare card.
The Better Access to Mental Health program provides Medicare rebates for ten sessions of psychological services and counselling in a one calendar year. Fees must be paid fully up front with an immediate rebate on the spot from Medicare available.
